This Time Baby in and Out of Love

Movie this: You've orchestrated the perfect at-abode engagement for your pregnant other, featuring candles, vino, and a lovingly home-cooked (or lovingly ordered via app) dinner. But only equally your person texts you that they're on their manner, you realize that you have no idea what sort of music to play to retain the romantic ambience. Afterward all, yous can't have your early 2000s guilty pleasure songs come up up on shuffle while you're trying to stare lovingly into your partner'due south eyes (nothing ruins the mood similar the distinctive "youuuuuu" at the beginning of "Soulja Boy." And yep, that example is based on a true story).

Anyhow, I've got you lot covered with my listing of the well-nigh beautiful, hopeful, and achingly romantic songs always written (in my humble opinion). You'll accept your crush/partner/Bumble date swooning.

"ROS" - Mac Miller

Nearly romantic lyrics: "I'm in your heart, I'm in your dream/ And then fuck the world information technology'southward you lot and me"

Rationale: When the outside world becomes brutal, many couples turn in and develop that united states of america-against-the-world mindset. In "ROS," Mac Miller captures what it'due south like to experience close to someone, spending much of this song describing the little things he loves nearly his partner, like her "stained glass" optics, butterscotch-scented skin, and kiwi-flavored lips. The lyrics are intimate in every way, and Mac delivers them with his characteristic rawness.

"These Arms of Mine" - Otis Redding

Most romantic lyrics: "These arms of mine, they are lonely/ Lonely and feeling bluish/ These artillery of mine, they are yearning/ Yearning from wanting you"

Rationale: This song hits me correct in the breast. Information technology's impossible not to feel your arms and breast aching like Reddings' when he sings about called-for to hold his lover. The music crescendos around his polish voice as he begs,  "And if you would let them hold you lot/ Oh, how grateful I would be." It's such a sweet, hostage plea for love, and its focus on physicality is pretty sexy, also.

"Ex Factor" - Lauryn Loma

Most romantic lyrics: "Run into, no one loves you more than me/ and no one ever volition"

Rationale: No one knows how to obliterate me emotionally quite similar Lauryn Hill does. In "Ex Cistron" (and on this whole album, let'due south be real), she's vulnerable, baring all her devotion to her swain. We recognize straightaway that her relationship is toxic, but Colina'south honesty is so beautiful that we humble listeners take no choice only to sit, transfixed, and listen.

"Skinny Love" - Bon Iver

Almost romantic lyrics: "Told my dear to wreck information technology all/ Cut out all the ropes and permit me fall"

Rationale: When this song came out in 2007, I was in middle school. I could not terminate singing information technology equally I traipsed through my firm, near-tears as I crooned nearly "the sink of blood and crushed veneer," equally though my twelve years on earth had been rife with tragic love affairs.

Nonetheless, this song still holds up. Bon Iver is a chief at depicting what it's similar to fully surrender yourself to someone while aware that they may injure y'all in the end. I still sing this song while I lounge around my piffling studio flat, drawing on real-life experiences this time, though I assure you that none of them involved blood-filled sinks or crushed veneers.

"Leather and Lace" - Stevie Nicks & Don Henley

About romantic lyrics: "Lovers forever, face up to face/ My city, your mountains/ Stay with me, stay/ I demand you lot to love me/ I need y'all today/ Give me to me your leather, take from me my lace"

Rationale: This is Stevie Nicks' lyricism at its most poignant. She wrote "Leather and Lace" herself and then performed it with Don Henley (of The Eagles) while they were dating. This duet is beautiful in and of itself, but their chemistry and passion for each other makes information technology all the more than impactful. An ex played this for me once, unprompted, and I remember thinking, My God, dude. Why would you lot do this to me?

Wrecked.

The Way You Look Tonight" - Frank Sinatra

Nearly romantic lyrics: "Lovely, never, never change/ keep that incoherent charm/ won't you please adapt information technology?/ 'Cause I love you/ Simply the way you look tonight"

Rationale: Ah, yes. The song that plays at every wedding on earth. Pop songs are popular for a reason, though, and this one endures because of the accepting, unconditional sort of honey that information technology depicts. In add-on to Sinatra's version, I'm besides fractional to Fred Astaire's rendition in the 1936 film Swing Time and the sweet yet tongue-in-cheek visuals become along with it.

"Everlasting Light" - The Black Keys

Almost romantic lyrics: "Permit me be your everlasting light/ Your railroad train going away from pain/ Dear is the coal that makes this railroad train roll/ Let me exist your everlasting lite"

Rationale: If you read the lyrics without the music, the whole song sounds kind of like a late nineteenth century poem. The love in this vocal is so pure and hopeful, and y'all'll definitely gain cool-points by playing The Black Keys on a first date.

"To Know Him Is To Love Him" - Amy Winehouse

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "To know, know, know him/ Is to beloved, dearest, love him/ Just to see that grinning/ Makes my life worthwhile"

Rationale: No one does unbridled love like Amy Winehouse. Her soulful phonation takes center stage in this Phil Spector cover, and if you're not already in beloved, it will make you want to exist.

"Like Existent People Practise" - Hozier

Nigh romantic lyrics: "I will not ask y'all where you came from/ I will not ask you lot, neither should you/ Dear, merely put your sweet lips on my lips/ We should just kiss similar real people exercise"

Rationale: Here, Hozier is trying to convince his love interest to forget that they both have pasts (who doesn't?) and to but dear him. There's a sense that both people in the vocal consider themselves odd in some way (again, who doesn't?), and that they've been searching for partners similar each other for ages. "Like Real People Do" reminds the states of how miraculous it feels to love and be loved back.

"Tin can't Take My Optics Off You" - Franki Valli & The Four Seasons

Most romantic lyrics: "You lot're but as well good to be true/ Can't have my optics off of you/ You'd exist like heaven to touch/ I wanna hold you and then much"

Rationale: To quote every Boomer from my home land of New Bailiwick of jersey: They just don't make 'em like this anymore. And it's true―this song manages to residuum emotional and sexual yearning without being crude.

And just... the gratitude Valli feels when he sings about loving his daughter so much that he thanks God he's alive. My Lord. They really but do not make 'em quite like this anymore.

"Forrest Gump" - Frank Bounding main

Almost romantic lyrics: "My fingertips and my lips/ They fire from the cigarettes/ Forrest Gump, you run my mind, boy/ Running on my listen, male child"

Rationale: This is Frank Ocean's near criminally underrated song and I will fight anyone who has anything negative to say about information technology. In fact, I one time fabricated a very loud, spirited defense force of this song when I was in loftier school, right later Ocean'southward sick-received performance of it at the 2013 Grammys.

The song is told from the perspective of Jenny in the 1994 film Forrest Gump. It'southward about a broken, tired person coming dorsum to their pure, enduring dear after a great deal of time has passed. It's peculiarly meaningful, in my opinion, considering Ocean penned the song in the wake of his very public coming-out.

"Have Me The Way I Am" - Ingrid Michaelson

Virtually romantic lyrics: "'Cause I love you more than I could always promise/ And you take me the way I am"

Rationale: What a throwback! Ingrid Michaelson was responsible for some of the sweetest manic-pixie-dream-daughter honey songs of the early 2000s, and this one was her virtually popular. Michaelson rejoices in having found a partner who loves her, flaws and all, and she responds in kind, promising to repair what her partner breaks and buy him Rogaine when his hair starts falling out. It's a promise to love someone forever.

"I'm Not Dead" - P!nk

Most romantic lyrics: "Correct across the cigarette and the devilish smile/You're my crevice of sunlight/ You can do the math a m ways/ But you tin't erase the facts/ That others come up and others go/ Merely y'all always come up back"

Rationale: This is my favorite era of P!nk'due south music. In "I'm Not Dead," she writes a frank, unapologetic love vocal about being a flawed man securely in dearest with another flawed homo. Waxing poetic about her and her swain's (her hereafter husband, Cary Hart, past the fashion) tattoos and alluding to her own mental illness, P!nk eschews all tired clichés about dear in favor of something far more authentic and affecting.

"Hannah Hunt" - Vampire Weekend

Most romantic lyrics: "A homo of faith said hidden eyes could see what I was thinkin'/ I just smiled and told him/ That was only true of Hannah"

Rationale: Oh, Ezra Koenig, how you wound me with your beautiful words! In this song, our narrator seems to be moving around the U.S. with his beloved Hannah until she grows homesick for the due east coast. Having lived in New England for effectually seven years, I'm partial to this vocal for its "freezing beaches" references, but it's also a gentle tribute to the way time glides away when you're with someone you love.

"A Song For You" - Donny Hathaway

Near romantic lyrics: "I love you in a place/ Where at that place's no space or time/ I love you for my life/ You lot're a friend of mine/ And when my life is over/ Remember when we were together"

Rationale: There have been many versions of this song, but this one'south my favorite. It was also Amy Winehouse'southward favorite. Donny Hathaway sings this with such feeling that one can't help but feel he'south reciting a memoir when he sings his amends to a woman he neglected to settle down with considering he was too busy performing effectually the globe.

"Maps" - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Most romantic lyrics: "Don't stray/ My kind's your kind/ I'll stay the same."

Rationale: Yeah, this song is ninety pct just Karen O singing "Wait, they don't love you like I love you," but it'due south then powerful! If you lot say something the correct way, and the accompanying music is expert plenty, there'southward no demand to embellish much more. Proof: Beyoncé conspicuously nods to this vocal in her 2016 single "Concord Up." "Maps" endures, over a decade later on, across genres.

"If I Ain't Got Yous" - Alicia Keys

Nigh romantic lyrics: "Some people want diamond rings/ Some but desire everything/ Only everything ways nothing/ If I own't got you"

Rationale: This song is all the more touching when you retrieve that she wrote it just as she was beginning to get famous. She promises that her renown―the fruit of all her labor―along with promises of riches, jewelry, or endless life would all mean nothing if she didn't take her man.

"Pine Tree Lines" - Told Camber

Nearly romantic lines: "I am the daughter my parents made/ Why don't you honey me anyway/ 'Cause I love the mode you take up space"

Rationale: Devastating genius. Pb singer Felix Walworth delivers this song so earnestly that his vocalism literally cracks during that last line. I've never heard a simpler or more startlingly authentic depiction of adoration than loving the style someone takes up space.

"Inevitable" - Shakira

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "To exist even more honest/ No one thinks about you/ The manner I do" (Translated from Spanish)

Rationale: Shakira spends nigh of this song laying out all her imperfections―that she doesn't know how to brand java, that she doesn't understand soccer, that she oversleeps, etc.―and and so proceeds to inquire her man to love her anyway.

"I Found Yous" - Alabama Shakes

Most romantic lyrics: "I recollect all them lone days/ I traveled out on my own/ Then you brought me everything/ You fabricated my house a home"

Rationale: This is a celebration of finally finding your person. And so who better to heed to it with than your person? Romantic, indeed.

"Rag Doll" - Franki Valli & The 4 Seasons

Most romantic lines: "I'd alter her sorry rags/ Into glad rags if I could/ My folks won't let me/ 'Crusade they say that she'due south no good."

Rationale: Another 4 Seasons song, aye. I'm from Jersey. Sue me.

Franki Valli declares his unconditional love for a girl much poorer than he is, fantasizing almost replacing her tattered wearing apparel with lace and finery. In spite of her poverty, he ends the vocal by crying, "I love you only the mode you are."

He wants to give everything to someone who can offer him nothing fabric. All he wants is her.

"Since I've Been Loving You" - Led Zeppelin

Most romantic lyrics: "Merely baby, since I've been loving you lot, yep/ I'm about to lose my worried heed/ Oh, yeah"

Rationale: Human being, these lyrics look then underwhelming when written down sans musical accompaniment. Information technology'due south tragic.

What makes this song and then romantic, to me, is the organ and bass piece of work past John Paul Jones pair with Robert Institute'due south searing vocals. It's a power blues song that hits you right in the gut. If desperate desire were a sound, this would be it.

"You Got Me" - Erykah Badu and The Roots

Well-nigh romantic lines: "If you don't worry 'bout where/ I been or who I saw  or/ What club I went to with my homies/ Baby, don't worry, you lot know that you got me"

Rationale: I cried when I saw this live. Erykah reassures her boyfriend during the chorus that she'll always be loyal to him, while Blackness Thought (lead MC of The Roots) uses his verses to tell the story of a lifelong romance. It'southward the best honey song in hip hop, hands down.

"(Y'all Make Me Experience Like) A Natural Woman - Aretha Franklin

Nearly romantic lyrics: "When my soul was in the lost and found/ You came along to claim it/ I didn't know just what was incorrect with me/ 'Til your buss helped me name it"

Rationale: We should heal ourselves rather than wait around for someone to heal us, but that doesn't mean that beloved can't be a healing feel. It's really romantic to thank someone for making you feel good, and that's precisely what this song (written past the flawless Carole Male monarch) is about.

"Jade" - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

Near romantic lyrics: "Nosotros tin't help but follow, she's Buddha, only watch her/ She moves like an old gypsy woman but swears she's a girl/ And all that she asks we'll allow her/ For Jade is the girl of the hr"

Rationale: Alex Ebert wrote this song for Jade Castrinos when they were both however dating and withal the frontpeople of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The song is a quiet beloved letter to Castrinos―you lot could imagine Ebert singing it to her at night by the campfire while the rest of the band is asleep (that'due south this ring's vibe, really). It's a shame that we no longer go to watch the sweet relationship between these talented musicians, but at least we'll always accept this hippie dear vocal.

"Wild Horses" - The Rolling Stones

Virtually romantic lyrics: "Graceless lady/ You know who I am/ You lot know I can't let y'all/ Slide through my easily/ Wild horses/ Couldn't drag me away"

Rationale: One of the wildest bands of the '60s and '70s also happened to write one of the most poignant songs about love and devotion. This is near a long, deep intimacy betwixt ii people, and of existence physically unable to resist the person you adore.

"Jim Bogart" - The Front Bottoms

About romantic lyrics: "I would slumber ameliorate on your floor/ Than I would always in my bed/ And if your carpeting makes my face itch/ Information technology'd even so be sky in my head"

Rationale: "Jim Bogart" opens with the in a higher place lyrics, sung with atomic number 82 vocaliser Brian Sella's signature raw vocals. He abandons all pride in his love for this girl, promising to do his guitar every night, to slumber on her floor without complaint, and to to ignore his doctor'southward advice―all to win her dearest. Nosotros shouldn't take to debase ourselves for love (*rolls eyes* yeah, yeah yeah), only this is art. And if we're being honest, this sentiment is relatable for anyone who's prayed for their love to be reciprocated.

"Loving You" - Elvis Presley

Nearly romantic lyrics: "If I'chiliad seen with someone new/ Don't exist blueish, don't yous be blue/ I'll be faithful, I'll be true/ Always true, true to yous"

Rationale: Elvis tells his love not to get jealous or to believe the hype around him and other women, reassuring her that she's the one for him. Although multiple sources have claimed that Elvis did, indeed, cheat on his wife, Priscilla, this remains his sweetest love song.

"Melissa" - The Allman Brothers Band

Nearly romantic lyrics: "Knowing many, loving none/ Bearin' sorrow, havin' fun/ But dorsum home he'll always run/ To sweet Melissa"

Rationale: Here, the Allman Brothers sing about a traveling musician who can't get over his sweetheart no thing how many other women he meets. She ever ends up resurfacing in his mind, and somewhen, he always returns to her.

"My Old Human being" - Joni Mitchell

Most romantic lyrics: "He's my sunshine in the forenoon/ He'due south my fireworks at the stop of the twenty-four hour period/ He's the warmest chord I ever head/ Play that warm chord, play and stay, baby"

Rationale: Mitchell'southward soaring mezzo-soprano meanders through a portrait of her relationship in this song, insisting throughout that, "We don't demand no piece of newspaper from the urban center hall." She's saying that she doesn't demand external validation of the relationship―this human gives her all she needs to experience secure in their bond.

"Devil In a New Apparel" - Kanye Due west, Rick Ross

Nigh romantic lyrics: "Put your hands to the constellations/ The way yous look should be a sin, you my awareness"

Rationale: Kanye West is a pretty polarizing figure, simply this is even so ane of my favorite albums of all fourth dimension. Information technology'southward a bittersweet tribute to his infamous relationship with Amber Rose, and this vocal encapsulates the ofttimes-sexy, always-complicated connexion between ii people who aren't skillful for each other, yet can't stay away from 1 some other.

"Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop)" - Erykah Badu, Common

Nigh romantic lyrics: "But that is all backside me/ 'Cause now at that place is no other/ My love is his and his is mine/ A friend became the/ Dear of my life"

Rationale: Conventional communication tells us to fall in love with someone who can be our  friend, besides. This vocal is near two lifelong best friends who discover their style back to each other after time spent apart. With her famously beguiling vocalisation, Erykah Badu captures the joy of being truly known by one'south partner.

"A Sunday Kind of Dearest" - Etta James

Most romantic lyrics: "I want a Dominicus kind of dearest/ A love to final by Saturday night/ I want to know it's more than love at first sight"

Rationale: We've all been at this point before. If Etta James were to have written this song today, she would take been explaining that she was ill of one-nighttime-stands and Tinder/Bumble/Hinge dates that go nowhere. She'd exist proverb she was tired of sweaty strangers in confined shouting into her ear, over deafening music, request if she wants to take a shot.

Instead, she'd want something substantial. Someone to relax and binge Schitt's Creek reruns with on the weekends.

May we all discover that Sunday kind beloved.

"Baby I'thou Yours" - Arctic Monkeys

Most romantic lyrics: "Baby, I'1000 yours/ And I'll be yours until the stars fall from the sky/ Yours until the rivers all run dry/ In other words, until I die"

Rationale: This song sounds similar it was written in the '50s or '60s. In some means, it's your run-of-the-manufactory irksome song, but in that location's something charming about the Arctic Monkeys being the ones to perform this retro pledge of devotion.

"She Volition Be Loved" - Maroon 5

Most romantic lyrics:"I don't mind spendin' everyday / Out on your corner in the pourin' rain"

Rationale:I remember listening to this song in middle school, wishing that the male child I had a crush on would love me plenty to stand exterior my window in the pelting. In retrospect, that would have been bad-mannered and inconvenient to explain to my mother, and these days I would probably find such behavior creepy (when I'chiliad in my pajamas in my apartment, peacefully eating Takis and watching The Sopranos, the last affair I need is a man standing outside, watching me from the street like something out of The Exorcist), but the sentiment of this song all the same stands.

"Because the Night" - Patti Smith

About romantic lyrics: "Come on, now, try and understand/ The way I experience when I'grand in your hands/ Take my hand, come undercover/ They tin't hurt you now"

Rationale: In this song, which was originally written by lyrical legend Bruce Springsteen, Smith promises her lover that he'southward safe with her. If you've read Smith's book Just Kids, yous'll probably listen to this vocal and retrieve of her and Robert Mapplethorpe singing and dancing to information technology down the streets of lower Manhattan.

"La Vie En Rose" - Edith Piaf

Most romantic lyrics: "When he holds me in his artillery/ And he speaks to me softly/ I see the world through rose-colored glasses" (Translated from French)

Rationale: Yous definitely know this song. It'southward the go-to for every romantic scene in every American picture show about France. And, granted, it's a great pick for a dinner date, peculiarly if you want to go a little slow dancing started.

"Someday" - The Growlers

Most romantic lyrics: "Merely stay for 1 more dark/ Ane day you're gonna be my wife/ You'll never accept to worry again/ I'm gonna be your man"

Rationale: Information technology sounds lead vocalist Brooks Nielsen's now-wife was getting really ill of his bullshit, and that he wrote this song as a plea to get her to say. Information technology's poetic, energetic, and hopeful, and it would accept worked on me, too, tbh.

"Wouldn't It Exist Prissy" - The Beach Boys

Most romantic lyrics: "Wouldn't it be prissy if we were older?/ So nosotros wouldn't have to wait so long"

Rationale: This is sung from the perspective of someone who's already certain nearly who he wants to spend the rest of his life with. And he's wishing that the rest of his life could start right now.

"Stay" - Rihanna, Mikky Ekko

Most romantic lyrics: "Not really certain how to feel nearly it/ Somethin' in the way yous motility/ Makes me feel like I tin't live without you"

Rationale: Love isn't a formula. There's no real logic to why we fall in love with some people just not others, and Rihanna hits the blast on the head when she says it'southward merely "something in the way [he] move[due south]." It'south reminiscent of The Beatles' song "Something." Speaking of which...

"Something" - The Beatles

Nigh romantic lyrics: "Something in the way she moves / Attracts me like no other lover / Something in the style she woos me / I don't want to leave her at present"

Rationale:This song is a tedious, dreamy ode on an otherwise bluesy album. George Harrison was the Beatle who penned it, writing that he wasn't certain what exactly triggered his honey or whether it would abound.  All he knew was that the honey was there, and that that should be enough.

"Androgynous" - The Replacements

Almost romantic lyrics: "And they love each other so/ Androgynous/ Closer than we know, love each other so/ Androgynous"

Rationale: This song is near two not-binary people falling in love, which is pretty cool for a song from 1984. Our main characters, archetypically named Dick and Jane, love each other regardless of gender. The Replacements brand a compelling statement virtually why traditional gender roles and clothing should brand no deviation if y'all're truly in love with someone.

"I'll Be Seeing You" - Billie Holiday

Most romantic lyrics: "I'll observe you in the morn sun/ In every lovely summer'southward solar day/ In everything that's right and gay/ I'll e'er think of you lot"

Rationale: You know when you lot're freshly in love (or heartbroken), and everything reminds you of that person? That's what this song is about. Everything effectually Vacation―the natural earth, a park, a cafe, a carousel―is a addicted reminder of her beloved.

"Sunday Candy" - Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment

Most romantic lyrics: "You've got to move it slowly/ Take it in my body like it'due south holy/ I've been waiting for you for the whole week/ I've been praying for you, you're my Sunday candy"

Rationale: The Social Experiment is the hip hop commonage that boasts members such as Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa (the former of which is featured heavily on this song). Jamila Woods performs the chorus to this vocal so sweetly that it'due south easy to forget the sexual implications, and she and Chance tell the story of a couple that spends a week at a time missing each other, absorbed in thoughts of one another until they're finally reunited.

"Come As Yous Are" - Nirvana

About romantic lyrics: "Come every bit y'all are/ Every bit you were/ As I want you lot to be"

Rationale: There are many interpretations of what this song means, ranging from mental health to friendship to commentary on inauthenticity. Just, to me, "Come As You Are" works as the ultimate grunge beloved vocal; as a promise to love and appreciate someone just the way they are.

"Please, Delight, Please" - James Chocolate-brown

Almost romantic lyrics: "Baby please, baby please, please me/ Babe please, baby please don't get/ Don't become, I said baby, don't babe/ I love you so"

Rationale: This song is almost entirely comprised of James Brown repeating "please," and, supposedly, he got a lot of flack from his producers about that before its release. But, like the Yeah Yes Yeahs' "Maps," this rails'southward magic lies in the passion with which it's delivered–and James Brownish is nothing if not passionate.

"I Will Always Love You" - Dolly Parton

Virtually romantic lyrics: "And I hope life will treat you kind/ And I promise that you have all/ That you lot ever dreamed of/ Oh, I do wish you lot joy/ And I wish yous happiness/ Just in a higher place all this/ I wish you honey"

Rationale: Without a doubtfulness, you're familiar with Whitney Houston's rendition of "I Will E'er Love You," just I love Dolly Parton's soft-spoken, country version as well. Where Houston belts, Parton croons, making this a bully alternative for when you lot want to hear this song on a quiet evening in.

 "Songbird" - Fleetwood Mac

Most romantic lyrics: "And I wish you all the beloved in the globe/ Simply near of all, I wish it from myself/ And the songbirds keep singing/ Like they know the score"

Rationale: Fleetwood Mac's members were notorious for hooking up inside their ranks, and Christine McVie (author and main vocalist on this vocal) was no exception. This is a unique love song, because information technology does unconditional love unlike any other: Information technology illustrates how information technology's entirely possible to honey someone and want the best for them while accepting, admitting sadly, that you might not be that best thing.

"First Twenty-four hours of My Life" - Bright Optics

Near romantic lyrics: "But I realized I need y'all/ And I wondered if I could come up dwelling house"

Rationale: This Vivid Eyes track makes me wish I was better at playing guitar. Frontman Conor Oberst makes a frank plea for his love, telling her, "I'k glad I didn't die before I met you," and asking for permission to approach. It's an practise in startling honesty, and the outcome, similar the whole album, is profound.

"Body of water of Beloved" - Cat Power

Most romantic lyrics: "Come with me, my love/ To the sea, the sea of love/ I wanna tell you/ How much I love yous "

Rationale: Originally, the terminal song on this listing was going to be T.I.'due south "Whatsoever You lot Similar" because I'm adamant that information technology will play at my wedding ane mean solar day (I'k not kidding), but "Sea of Love" is besides romantic to pass up. With minimal instrumentation, Cat Power delivers a brief but heartfelt honey letter whose genius lies in its profound simplicity. 10/10.
